FAQ
Cost/Insurance
At this time Devona is only able to accept Wellmark Blue Cross/Blue Shield plans. As each plan is different, it is important for you to contact your insurance provider for coverage details.
If you have other insurance, your carrier may provide some coverage to out of network providers. Contact the insurance provider on the back of your card for details.
Emergencies
If you are in danger to yourself or someone else, call 911 immediately.
As an outpatient provider in an individual practice, Devona is unavailable for emergencies or crisis interventions.
It is important to consider your safety needs and be aware of Devona’s limitations. If your current symptoms include chronic, severe life-threatening safety risks, or if you do not feel confident that you can or will access resources (link to additional resources) in the event of a crisis, Devona can refer you to providers that may be better able to meet your treatment needs.
Length of treatment
Length of treatment is individualized. The biggest factor is your treatment goal. Some people seek therapy because of an acute stressor and find brief therapy beneficial. For others, it may be more of an ongoing process. Some people also find maintenance therapy necessary to prevent a relapse of symptoms. It is up to you to decide what you need.
Cancelations and No shows
A no-show fee of $75 will be charged if you do not show up for your appointment. Cancelations made less than 24 hours in advance will be billed $25 after the first occurrence.
Account balances
You will receive a statement through an automated billing system. Account balances must be paid in full before scheduling your next appointment.
